Butyric acid is a naturally occurring short-chain fatty acid in animals and a well-established feed ingredient for poultry, swine and young ruminants. It is used to enhance gut integrity, ensuring the health and performance of animals. 

SpeoCare® T60 contains more than 60 percent tributyrin, derived from butyric acid and glycerol through advanced esterification technology. This innovative approach enables the targeted release of butyric acid in the small intestine, where it plays a vital role in supporting gut health. Once in the intestine, butyric acid serves as an energy source for epithelial cells, promoting their growth and functionality while enhancing nutrient absorption.
