After almost 20 years on the pitch, we’re moving to the sidelines. Together with Borussia Dortmund, we have achieved everything there is to achieve in football – championship titles, cup wins and not one, but two Champions League finals. Dramatic action, emotional rollercoaster and a true love of the game, be it at Wembley, Anfield or Bernabeu. That’s the stuff real football dreams are made of. 

It’s been an unforgettable journey side by side, taking Borussia Dortmund from the bottom of the Bundesliga to being one of Europe’s top teams. We have turned Evonik, initially a little-known player, into a likeable brand with tremendous appeal both in Germany and the international arena – in the public eye, among football fans and above all in our markets across the globe. 

Twenty years is a long time. And we’ll share the experience we have gained to the benefit of Borussia Dortmund also in the years to come. At the same time, we’ll seek to ensure that through our accomplishments from this sponsorship we continue to build on Evonik’s business success going forward. That’s why we will remain at Borussia Dortmund’s side as a Champion Partner.
