KOH 50 low chlorate grade for sensitive applications
A low chlorate grade solution of potassium hydroxide, a strong base commonly used in food processing, in electronics and as a cleaning agent in industrial settings.
Potassium Hydroxide Solution 50 % is produced in a mercury-free membrane cell process.
The substance is listed under Regulation (EC) No 1333/2008 on food additives and fulfils the following limitations:
• Arsenic ≤ 3 ppm
• Lead ≤ 2 ppm
• Mercury ≤ 1 ppm
The product is not listed in Regulation (EC) No 1334/2008 on flavourings and certain food ingredients with flavouring properties for use in and on foods.
