TEGOPREN® 6814 is an alkyl modified siloxane (liquid silicone wax) of organophilic behavior.
Typical Applications
TEGOPREN® 6814 can be used as an additive for thermoplastic polymer formulations to improve lubrication and surface slip properties. In textile application it can be used as an additive for fibre finishing to improve lubrication or wetting and spreading of non-polar systems. TEGOPREN® 6814 can also be used as an additive in softener formulations to improve the smooth hand of fabrics.
