TEGOPREN® 5863 is a polyether siloxane. It is a non-ionic product with 100 % active content.
Typical Applications
- In paper application TEGOPREN® 5863 is recommended as defoamer booster for mineral or silicone oil-based pulp defoamers and as emulsifier and booster for paper mill defoamers based on fatty alcohols
- In textile application TEGOPREN® 5863 is recommended as lubricant and wetting/spreading agent in non-polar systems. It is suitable for the treatment of fibers or fabrics applied by padding
- TEGOPREN® 5863 provides good sew ability and lubricity. It can be used alone or in combination with other organo modified siloxanes or organic based surfactants
