TEGOPREN® 5845 is a highly efficient substrate wetting additive for a variety of systems. It can be used as lubricant in textile auxiliary formulations.
TEGOPREN® 5845 can also be used as additive to improve defoamer formulations in pulp bleaching plants.

TEGOPREN® 5845 is soluble in polar oils and up to 10% dosage even in water, therefore:
- It improves the wetting of substrates due to extreme lowering of the surface tension of water or ester oil-based systems
- In textile application it reduces fiber and fiber-to-metal frictions in spin finish application
- No adverse effect on the finishing process (printing/electroplating, etc.) of the treated parts occurs
