TEGO® Antifoam MR 465 is used as an antifoam component in the production of additive packages for diesel fuel.

Efficiency in dry and wet fuel
TEGO® Antifoam MR 465 reduces substantially and reliably both, foam collapse time and initial foam height. TEGO® Antifoam MR 465 maintains its outstanding performance even in wet fuel and after a storage time of the treated fuel exceeding 4 weeks.
Water shedding properties
Excellent water shedding properties could be achieved by using a sulphur free demulsifier.
Reduced treat rate
Compared to conventional antifoams based on polyether siloxanes, TEGO® Antifoam MR 465 proved to be much more efficient resulting in strongly reduced treat rates.
Compatibility with additive packages
TEGO® Antifoam MR 465 may be incorporated into diesel additive packages requiring only small amounts or even no additional use of solvents, i. e. TEGO® Antifoam MR 465 supports the formulation of low-solvent additive packages. It shows excellent compatibility with a wide range of packages, regardless the solvent base, detergents, etc. TEGO® Antifoam MR 465 can be incorporated in most additive packages yielding clear and stable formulations even at temperatures as low as -20°C
