TEGO® Antifoam 2205 is suitable as pre-defoamer for a wide range of emulsifiable lubricants such as metalworking fluids (MWF).
TEGO® Antifoam 2205 can be applied for soluble oils and semi synthetic fluids based on mineral oils or ester oils as well as for emulsifiable lubricants that are based on blends of those oils.
TEGO® Antifoam 2205 is particularly recommended for applications where the use of silica and siloxanes is not appreciated.

- Is completely silicon (Si)-free as it neither contains silicone oils nor organo-modified siloxanes or silica
- Has no adverse effects on finishing processes (e.g. painting, electroplating) of treated metal parts
- Provides good foam knock down and hold down properties in a wide range of different emulsifiable systems
- Enables the formulation of stable lubricant concentrates and often shows improved compatibility with emulsifiable lubricants concentrates compared to TEGO® Antifoam MR 2124

- Provides improved filterability compared to conventional wax based antifoams, which minimizes the amount of additional tank side defoamer
