Typical Applications
TEGO® Antifoam 2290 destroys foam or prevents foam formation reliably in aqueous media and may be used for foam control in a variety of industrial applications, even there where the use of silicone and silica is not accepted
- Process aid for water-based polymerization of dispersions, thermoplastics and elastomers (e.g. de-monomerisation of SBR or NBR emulsions, handling of acrylates)
- In formulation and application of polymer dispersions/latices (e.g. adhesives based on acrylates or PVAc, paper coatings or others)
- In a multitude of other industrial applications
