TEGO® Coagulant 4720 is based on polyfunctional non-ionic ingredients and may be used for heat sensitization of natural and synthetic latex.
Typical Applications
TEGO® Coagulant 4720 may be used for heat sensitization of natural and synthetic latex for various applications. By varying the concentration the sensitization temperature can be adjusted from approx. 40°C to 50°C (104 °F to 122 °F); spontaneous coagulation is observed at the adjusted temperature.
Benefits at a glance

- The addition of TEGO® Coagulant 4720 does not influence the stability of the latex below the sensitization temperature
- However, we recommend rapid processing of the treated latex and to secure storage temperatures below 30°C (85 °F)
