TEGOMER® AntiScratch L is an organo-modified siloxane delivered in liquid form.
Typical Applications
- Recommended to be used in polyolefin compounds to guarantee permanent scratch resistance
- Suitable for PP / TPO systems used for interior and exterior car application
- Can be applied in polyolefin co-compounds with polar thermoplastic materials such as PBT or PA
Benefits at a glance
- Non-migrating additive for the improvement of permanent long-term scratch resistance
- Highly effective and does not have to be combined with amides
- Allows to manufacture surfaces with no negative influence regarding haptic issues
- Works in a wide range of talc filling as it is typical for interior and exterior automotive application with 10-40% talc filling
- Does not influence the gloss of the polyolefin compound if it is distributed by a sufficient liquid dosage equipment or in the premix
- Suitable for thermoplastic polyolefin with other inorganic fillers, e.g. wollastonite
