ALBIPOX® 8001 is a high performance elastomer-modified epoxy resin based on Bisphenol A epoxy resin. It is used as tackifier. The combination of special reactive rubbers used in this material yields extreme tackiness which disappears upon cure.
Typical Applications
ALBIPOX® 8001 is used whenever a drastic improvement of tackiness of epoxy resins is required. Major applications are prepregs for fibre reinforced composites and structural adhesives. It can be used as tackifier by overspray techniques as well.
