BREAK-THRU® SF 420 is a unique, 100% bio-based surfactant for tank-mix and in-can applications. It is an adjuvant based on sophoro-lipids produced in a sustainable manner by fermentation. BREAK-THRU® SF 420 is readily biodegradable, with over 99% biodegradation after 28 days according to OECD 301 F. It provides superior adhesion and retention of plant protection sprays on leaves, better uptake through penetration of cuticular waxes, and dispersing properties for copper-based substances such as Cu(OH)2 or Coppoxchloride.

If the pesticide label does not have a specific recommendation for adjuvant use, but does not prohibit its application, BREAK-THRU® SF 420 should be applied at rates listed within this document. Careful observation of spray performance in a trial application with the tank mixture to be sprayed is advised to determine proper and efficient rates.
In SC formulations BREAK-THRU SF 420 in a use rate of 8-12% is able to dispers lime and copper. Furthermore it improves the formulation by its adjuvancy properties.
