DYNOL® 604 is a low foaming wetting agent based on patented Gemini surfactant technology and provides very good static and dynamic surface tension reduction in waterborne systems. Further, DYNOL® 604 is used as a coalescing surfactant.
DYNOL® 604 demonstrates lower foam and dynamic surface tension values compared to the more hydrophophilic DYNOL® 607. In addition, comparative wetting performance tests have shown that DYNOL® 604 is an excellent choice as a replacement for fluorosurfactants.
