ACCUREL® MP 400 is a porous carrier resin completely made from low density polyethylene (LDPE).
Typical Applications
ACCUREL® MP 400 is used as a carrier for liquid additives for easier and safer handling or controlled release. It is most effective for the incorporation of thermally sensitive additives, reactive agents, fragrances and for those which cannot be processed by conventional extrusion compounding techniques. Liquid additives absorb physically onto ACCUREL® MP 400 at temperatures up to 60°C. In general, additive viscosity should not exceed 30,000 cSt at absorption processing temperature.
