ACCUREL® Si 707 is a 30,000 cSt silicone oil on a propylene ethylene random copolymer.
Typical Applications
ACCUREL® Si 707 significantly reduces the coefficient of friction (COF) when incorporated in the skin layer of biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) films.
It is also suitable for PP and TPE compounds to improve their scratch resistance and demoulding performance.
ACCUREL® Si 707 works even at elevated temperatures and is especially suitable for tobacco packaging films.
Due to the ACCUREL® production process the silicone oil is properly pre-dispersed in the ACCUREL® Si 707 granules facilitating homogenous dispersion of the silicone oil in the BOPP film.
The product is suitable for transparent applications with low impact on haze.
