ACCUREL® Si 761 is a 30000 cSt silicone oil on porous polypropylene (PP).
Typical Applications
ACCUREL® Si 761 improves slip and lubrication properties in PP applications. It supports the release of injection-molded parts.
Incorporated in the skin layer of biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) films, ACCUREL® Si 761 significantly reduces the coefficient of friction (COF), even at elevated temperatures.
Pre-dispersion of the silicone oil in the porous carrier supports a homogeneous distribution of the silicone oil in the finished product.
Dosing of silicone oil as a solid high concentrate can make compounding of complex formulations more convenient.
