TEGO® Sorb PY 50 PE and TEGO® Sorb PY 50 PP are masterbatches based on polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP), respectively. The active component is zinc ricinoleate, which is working as an odour absorber according to the key and locker principle (not working with a flavour principle).

TEGO® Sorb PY 50 PE and PP are used against malodour in the production of masterbatches and compounds. Malodour during these processes may result from the use of certain pigments, the use of recycled polymers or from vulcanization (TPE-V).
TEGO® Sorb PY 50 PE and PP are even suitable for single screw applications. The products are used for cast and blown films made from recycled polyolefines.
