ACCUREL® CL 570 is an additive concentrate of TAIC on EVA. The active ingredient TAIC is a trifunctional monomer which can polymerize in the presence of radicals formed by irradiation or peroxides.
Typical Applications
ACCUREL® CL 570 is used for the production of radiation crosslinkable or peroxide crosslinkable polyolefins, e.g. cables, tubes, pipes and foams. The EVA carrier allows the use of the masterbatch in all polyolefins, e.g. LLDPE, LDPE, HDPE, EVA and PP.
The active ingredient TAIC increases the crosslinking reactions over the degradation reactions during irradiation.
