ACCUREL® PPA 1410

ACCUREL® PPA 1410 is an organomodified siloxane (OMS) on a LDPE polymer carrier designed to be used as a PFAS replacement polymer processing aid in various film and fiber processes.

Typical Applications

ACCUREL® PPA 1410 is applied in various film processes, e.g. cast films, blown films and others. The product is suitable for transparent and matt films as well as for films containing TiO2 (white opaque films) or CaCO3.
ACCUREL® PPA 1410 causes a significant reduction of the coefficient of friction (COF). At the same time the slip performance is improved. There is no transfer of the additive to the opposite layer of the film causing a lost in adhesion force or a reduced sealing strength.
ACCUREL® PPA 1410 is suitable to replace fluorine-based polymer processing aids (PPA) to prevent the film against shark skin appearance.
ACCUREL® PPA 1410 prevents against die built up and thus, reduces the need for cleaning stops and maintenance.
