Antoine Albeau is the fastest windsurfer in the world, and he’s chasing a new world record. To do it, he relies on a board built entirely around material circularity. At its core is Evonik’s Rohacryl™: a reusable, high-performance acrylic foam produced in Darmstadt that makes the board lighter, stronger, and fully recyclable.

Together with high-performance specialist Marc Amerigo, the team behind Project Zephir is developing a material concept that uses as few highly compatible components as possible—demonstrating how sustainable solutions can set new standards even in high-speed sports.
