Elodie: Expertise in sustainable cosmetics
After earning my degree in Technical Biology from the University of Stuttgart and completing a PhD in Cutaneous Biology, I began my professional career in research. Fluent in French, English, and German, I leverage this diversity to connect cultures, companies, and ideas.
In my early career, I was part of a team exploring new health & skin benefits, developing concepts, and conducting studies to demonstrate the efficacy of innovative ingredients for the food industry. Then, I was in charge of the prospection and scouting of new active ingredients and later of raw material and testing purchasing in cosmetic finish good companies, overseeing a large supplier portfolio and implementing sustainable supplier management practices.
Since 2023, I have been working as Director Evonik Skin Institute at Evonik Care Solutions. In this role, I coordinate global collaboration on active ingredients and cosmetic raw materials, focusing on co-developing innovative and sustainable solutions that reduce environmental impact while delivering high performance. My responsibilities include co-creation projects that enable new formulations and new active ingredient co-development.
Combining scientific excellence with commercially viable solutions, I aim to drive innovations that create value for both partners and the environment.
