A Career Anchored in Data 

For as long as she can remember, Marianna has proudly embraced her nerdy personality and now she encourages others to explore the world of data. As she explains,  "Data is like an ocean of possibilities - deep, dynamic, sometimes turbulent, yet mostly thrilling.  There are countless career paths in this field, since everything today is connected to information." 

A Path shaped by transformations 

Before joining Evonik, Marianna navigated across multiple industries, environments, and realities, but one constant remained: data. No matter the scenario, she combined analytical mindset, love for improvement and creativity into solutions. 

A defining moment in her career came when she moved from Technology to HR just one week before the pandemic hit Brazil. "I had no prior HR experience, it was a period marked by uncertainty, but also an unforgettable opportunity to support people when they needed it most." This chapter shaped her resilience and strengthened her belief that empathy and technical skills are a powerful combination.  

What Drives Her Today 

Currently, Marianna is focused on reshaping HR data. Building on a solid foundation, she´s helping to redesign the data modeling, improve pipelines, integrate sources, and developing dashboards that provide clarity at first glance. 

And because efficiency matters, she also focuses on automation. As she often jokes, “Nobody misses filling out the same spreadsheet twice." By reducing repetitive tasks, she helps her colleagues to focus on what truly matters. 

Her Philosophy: Simplicity, curiosity and a good sense of humor 

Marianna believes technology shouldn’t be complicated. For her, innovation starts with curiosity and real progress happens when people, tech, and a practical mindset work together. 

Guided by a desire to turn complexity into clarity, she brings a distinctly Brazilian mix of passion, calmness, and flexibility - even when the pressure rises – proving that professionalism and warmth can coexist.  

Her humor is intentional and measured. Not for show, but as a tool: it opens conversations, eases complex discussions, and creates space for ideas to flow. As she likes to say, “Humor makes everything better.”
