AEROSIL® R 972 W is a fumed silica aftertreated with DDS (Dimethyldichlorosilane). The product thickening efficiency of AEROSIL® R 972 W is consistent with the Waterford-produced AEROSIL® R 972. This profile is different than the thickening profile of standard AEROSIL® R 972 quality produced in Rheinfelden.

When stored in an original unopened packaging, the product has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of manufacture. We recommend to store the product in closed containers under dry conditions and to protect the material from volatile substances.
