ANCAMINE® 2280

ANCAMINE® 2280 is a modified polyamine designed for use as an ambient curing agent in two-component liquid epoxy systems. It is especially suitable as all-rounder for use in high chemical resistance applications in metal or concrete primers. A special feature besides good resistance against chemicals is an excellent resistance against carbamation and water-spotting. This curing agent is an ideal alternative to aromatic amines. The chemical resistance can be further increased by using bisphenol F or novolac resins.

Typical Applications

ANCAMINE® 2280 is a modified cycloaliphatic amine curing agent designed for epoxy systems requiring balanced reactivity, good workability, and reliable performance under ambient curing conditions.

  • Industrial flooring

  • High-solids coatings

  • Chemically resistance linings and mortars

  • Secondary containment linings

With its balanced cure profile and good mechanical and chemical resistance, ANCAMINE® 2280 is well suited for durable epoxy flooring and coating applications where reliable processing and performance are required.
