TEGOTENS® SD 100 MB is a low foaming fatty acid sorbitan ester surfactant that is compatible with all other non-ionic, anionic and cationic surfactants. It enhances quick spreading and wetting of diluted cleaners on structured surfaces like non-slip tiles. It also reduces spotting in machine dish wash applications but does not leave a bitter taste in dishes (as standard non-ionics do). As an alternative to ethoxylated quaternaries, the material is free from ethylene oxide, and it is based on natural raw materials. TEGOTENS® SD 100 MB can be formulated in slightly acidic to alkaline systems (pH 5-14).
