TEGOPREN® 7009 is an alkyl- and polyether modified siloxane. In addition to its high emulsion stabilizing potential, which is caused by the high molecular weight (> 10 000) and the polymeric and poly-functional structure, TEGOPREN® 7009 still offers typical silicone properties like gloss, surface care benefits and, hydrophobic character. Despite its the high refraction index, the product is clear and able to form clear gels, even of small particle size. TEGOPREN® 7009 is also efficient in its wetting behaviour; about 3% of the product is sufficient to create stable W/O emulsions.
