ROHACELL® HERO is an innovative core material with superior elongation at break properties for lightweight, durable and cost-efficient composite aircraft structures. The closed cell foam minimizes resin uptake, resulting in lighter components than honeycomb cores while remaining robust over the aircraft’s service life. With heat resistance up to 210°C (428°F), it enables higher processing temperatures, shorter cycle times and efficient manufacturing with autoclave, resin infusion, RTM and VARTM.
