Typical Applications

  • Most commonly used as an antistatic agent, effective on cellulosic and synthetic fibers and fabrics
  • Water soluble, cationic surfactant, suggesting uses as a dispersing agent, dye retarder, and general purpose emulsifier
  • Application rates at levels of 0.05%-0.1% based on fiber or fabric weight give demonstrable reductions in static charges
