Polymer VS 50 is a vinylterminated polydimethylsiloxane with a viscosity of 50 mPas. It can be used as a based polymer in addition-curing silicone formulations.
Typical Applications
Polymer VS 50 cures by a platinum-catalyzed addition reaction with silicone crosslinkers containing SiH groups. Due to the low content of volatile constituents and the crosslinking mechanism, the curing shrinkage remains low and no volatile or corrosive substances are formed while curing.
Polymer VS 50 can be used for a wide range of applications by selecting the suitable crosslinkers (Crosslinker 100 series, Crosslinker 200 series), catalysts (Catalyst 500 series), additives and fillers.

Polymer VS 50 is a vinyl terminated silicone binder for A-silicones with a very low viscosity for highly flowable or sprayable products. It can accept highest filler loadings even beyond 90 wt.-%. It can be combined with Modifier 700 series to achieve good elasticities.
