TEGOSTAB® B 8409 is a non-hydrolysable polyether polydimethylsiloxane copolymer for manufacturing polyurethane rigid foam.
Typical Applications
TEGOSTAB® B 8409 is suitable for all flow-demanding applications, such as appliance and discontinuously produced sandwich insulation panels. It combines good nucleation support with excellent emulsification properties.
This surfactant can be used with all common blowing agents, such as pentanes, HFCs and HFOs. Nevertheless, it is especially recommended for water-blown formulations or high-water contents. It forms a clear solution with all commonly applied polyols for rigid foams.
