ORTEGOL® 500 is a silicone-free blend of organic polymers used as a cell-opening additive, in particular in the manufacturing process of water-blown rigid polyurethane foams with an open-celled pore structure.
Typical Applications
The organic polymer structure of ORTEGOL® 500 has a very selective effect as a cell opener for rigid polyurethane foams without any influence on the cell size. It can be used in systems blown by auxiliary blowing agents and/or "blown by water".
