DABCO® TMR 2 is a quaternary ammonium based catalyst that promotes the polyisocyanurate reaction (trimerization). It provides a uniform and controlled rise profile compared to potassium-based catalysts. DABCO® TMR 2 is used in rigid foam applications where improved flowability is required. It may also be used in flexible moulded foam applications for back end cure.
Typical Applications
DABCO® TMR 2 is suitable for polyurethane and polyisocyanurate foam systems. It can be used in combination with other members of the DABCO® TMR or KOSMOS family to tailor system reactivities to meet specific needs.
