DABCO® BA 100 is a low-corrosive, reactive blocking agent for manufacturing polyurethane foam. It is reactive towards iscocyanates and will react into the polymer matrix.
It is commonly used with DABCO® NE catalysts, but can also be used with traditional tertiary amine catalysts to delay the catalytic reaction.
Typical Applications
DABCO® BA 100 is recommended for use in any water-blown TDI or TDI/MDI high resiliency (HR) foam as well as TDI/ MDI or MDI-based, cold-cured moulded polyurethane foam. Higher amine levels can be utilized to speed up cure time while maintaining long cream time.
