POLYCAT® DBU (Diazabicycloundecen) is a tertiary amine that strongly promotes the urethane (polyol-isocyanate) reaction in semi-flexible, microcellular foam and coating, adhesive, sealant and elastomer applications.

POLYCAT® DBU is mainly used for specialized applications requiring very strong catalysis. These applications include formulations containing alicyclic or aliphatic isocyanates, which are much less active than aromatic isocyanates and require exceptionally strong catalysts.
