TEGOSTAB® B 8957 is a modified polysiloxane used as foam stabilizer with enhanced cell opening in the manufacture of polyurethane shoe soles. It is especially beneficial in lower density systems based on polyester polyols for out soles and mid soles to improve dimensiontal stability.
Typical Applications
TEGOSTAB® B 8957 is used for the manufacture of polyurethane shoe soles. It improves the properties of the manufactured parts, i.e. creates an open cell structure and improves dimensional stability at lower densities. Stability testing in the respective formulations is recommended.
