BREAK-THRU® S 255 is a biocompatible carrier liquid for microbial dispersion concentrates (DC) and a wetting agent for oil- and water-based formulations. It is a water- and oil soluble polyether modified polysiloxane suitable for microbe based biosolutions, like biopesticides and bio stimulants.

- Reduces surface tension, especially of methylated seed oils and vegetable oils, leading to enhanced spreading of oils
- Results in better contact of oils and included actives on surfaces, increasing biological efficacy
- Has no adverse effect on the germination of seeds and microbes
- Increases the shelf life of fungal spores like Trichoderma spp. as a carrier liquid
- Generates monomolecular layers on solid surfaces, creating wetting properties in the upper zone of the soil
- Provides humectant properties in this zone due to physically bound water
- Inhibits leaching of active ingredients into deeper zones of the soil
