KOSMOS® T 9 (stannous octoate) is a strong metal-based gel (polyol-isocyanate) catalyst for manufacturing flexible polyurethane foam.
Typical Applications
KOSMOS® T 9 is recommended for use in flexible slabstock polyether foams. It is also used successfully as a catalyst for polyurethane coatings and sealants. It acts as an efficient gel catalyst but also the blow reaction is influenced to a certain extent due to interaction with the simultaneously applied amine activator.
