DABCO® 8174 is an acid-blocked tertiary amine that primarily promotes the urethane (polyol-isocyanate) reaction while providing a delayed initiation in flexible and rigid polyurethane foams.
Typical Applications
DABCO® 8174 is used in moulded foam applications where a delay in cream time is required to facilitate mould filling and closing and to improve flow.
DABCO® 8174 is also used as a co-catalyst in both moulded and slabstock formulations. Use of up to 25% of this product.
