TEGOSIL® VS 100 is a vinylterminated polydimethylsiloxane with a viscosity of 100 mPas. It can be used as a based polymer in addition-curing silicone formulations. In addition, TEGOSIL® stands for high-quality silicone solutions with low cyclic content, ensuring optimized performance and compliance with stringent industry standards (D4 < 250ppm, D5 < 1000ppm, D6 < 1000ppm).
Typical Applications
TEGOSIL® VS 100 cures by a platinum-catalyzed addition reaction with silicone crosslinkers containing SiH groups. Due to the low content of volatile constituents and the crosslinking mechanism, the curing shrinkage remains low and no volatile or corrosive substances are formed while curing.
TEGOSIL® VS 100 can be used for a wide range of applications by selecting the suitable crosslinkers (TEGOSIL® CL 100 series, TEGOSIL® CL 200 series), catalysts (TEGOSIL® CAT 500 series), additives and fillers.

Benefits at a glance
TEGOSIL® VS 100 is a vinyl terminated silicone binder for A-silicones with a very low viscosity for highly flowable or sprayable products. It can accept highest filler loadings even beyond 90 wt.-%. It can be combined with TEGOSIL® MOD 700 series to achieve good elasticities.
