Lars Böhnisch is an Investment Manager focusing on Evonik’s innovation growth area Accelerate Energy Transition, particularly in e-mobility & batteries. In addition, he covers opportunities in adjacent fields such as robotics and additive manufacturing and serves as the team’s point of contact for venture clienting activities. Based in Germany, he is responsible for the regions Israel, Portugal, and Spain. Lars has held various board positions and currently serves as an active board member at CircumFix Solutions.
Prior to joining the investment team, Lars held several strategy roles within Evonik. In his most recent position, he headed the External Growth / M&A department at Evonik Resource Efficiency GmbH. Before joining Evonik in 2012, Lars worked as a Senior M&A Manager within the E.ON Group, where he led and executed national and international acquisition and investment projects at E.ON Climate & Renewables GmbH.
Lars studied economics in Bochum (Germany) and Cork (Ireland).
