Modular pilot plant for continuous processing

Evonik’s new Modular Continuous Pilot (MCP) plant in Hanau, Germany, offers a flexible, cGMP-qualified environment for continuous reactions. Harmonized with other Evonik sites, it supports fast scale-up from lab to commercial production.

The MCP plant handles a wide range of reaction types—including hydrogenations and processes involving extreme temperatures or hazardous gases. It’s designed for safe handling of challenging compounds while meeting strict safety and regulatory standards.

This investment strengthens our contract manufacturing capabilities, helping clients bring products to market faster while maintaining high quality and sustainability.
