PERACLEAN® 5 AS is an aqueous solution of peracetic acid, hydrogen peroxide, acetic acid, and stabilizers. PERACLEAN® 5 AS complies with the BPR quality requirements for active substance “peracetic acid” and is specially designed for formulation of biocidal products. The product can be also used as a bleaching and oxidation agent or as a reagent in a chemical synthesis. PERACLEAN® 5 AS is not a biocidal product and, therefore, cannot be used for any application as a disinfectant, which requires an authorization under the BPR. PERACLEAN® 5 AS decomposes into water, oxygen, and acetic acid.
