The Ultimate Curing Agent for Superior Chemical Resistance in Epoxy Coatings
ANCAMINE® 2849 is a specialized curing agent that significantly enhances the properties of epoxy-based coatings and materials. Its exceptional chemical resistance and durability make it a preferred choice for industries that operate in some of the most challenging environments.
ANCAMINE® 2849 is extensively used in the formulation of protective coatings that are applied to industrial equipment and structures where high chemical resistance to strong inorganic acids or crude oil required, at both ambient and elevated temperature.
In chemical and petrochemical industry, ANCAMINE® 2849 plays a crucial role for formulating coatings for linings for storage tanks, railcars, or pipelines that could be exposed to 98% Sulfuric acid, 37% chloric acid or crude oil to ensure that these assets can resist the very harsh environment even at elevated temperature. Its robustness makes it suitable for both onshore and offshore applications, where materials are exposed to extreme conditions.
Coatings based on ANCAMINE® 2849 would be also beneficial for use in wastewater applications, secondary containment, industrial flooring, and concrete structures in order to prevent deterioration due to strong chemical exposure.
In short, ANCAMINE® 2849 provides high chemical resistance of coatings for many applications, ensuring the longevity and integrity of the assets.
