LACTEL® 50:50 DL-PLGA IV 0.55 - 0.75 (legacy LACTEL® B6013-2) is a copolymer of 50 mol % D,L-Lactide and 50 mol % Glycolide with an acid end group.
The inherent viscosity range of this polymer is 0.55-0.75 dL/g in HFIP and its degradation time is max. 3 months.
This bioabsorbable excipient is supplied as white to tan ground or pelletized solid and may be used for parenteral controlled release of pharmaceutical ingredients.
