LACTEL® 50:50 DL-PLGE IV 0.95 - 1.20 (legacy LACTEL® B6010-4) is a copolymer of 50 mol % D,L-Lactide and 50 mol % Glycolide with an ester end group.
The inherent viscosity range of this polymer is 0.95-1.20 dL/g in HFIP and its degradation time is max. 6 months.
This bioabsorbable excipient is supplied as white to tan pelletized solid and may be used for parenteral controlled release of pharmaceutical ingredients.
