VISIOMER® DMAPMA (3-dimethylamino propyl methacrylamide) is an amino-functional methacrylamide monomer. Compared to methacrylic esters, it exhibits increased hydrolytic stability. This monomer enhances pigment wetting and substrate adhesion to polymers. Its polarity also improves the dispersibility of both homo- and copolymers of VISIOMER® DMAPMA in aqueous solutions. It is commonly used in the synthesis of retention and dewatering agents for papermaking and water treatment applications.
