VISIOMER® MPEG 2005 MA W is a Methoxy Polyethylene Glycol Methacrylate with a 50 % water content. It is a highly polar monomer with excellent water solubility. VISIOMER® MPEG 2005 MA W contains approximately 45 ethylene oxide (EO) units in the chain. In polymer binders it is used as co-polymerizable emulsifier to stabilize emulsions. In the construction industry VISIOMER® MPEG 2005 MA W is used as co-monomer to synthesize polycarboxylate (PCE) superplasticizers and water reducers.
