Core tasks

• Create processing guides, design guides, troubleshooting guides, evaluation guides, application notes, presentation, videos and demonstrations for products and solutions;
• Support sales and marketing efforts as required. Travel is required to support field and marketing activities;
• Maintain technical contacts of OEMs, key accounts and key 3rd party;
• Lead, coordinate or support technical cooperation between Evonik and sports OEMs;
• Support customer’s molding trials, technical seminar, project meetings and trouble shooting activities;
• Support product launch activities and assist conference, technical training and distributer training;
• Analyzing test results and generate report;
• Study and develop new processing technology;
• Align new industrial standard and set up new test methods in the area of Consumer Goods;
• Assists in R&D projects in TCS;
• Initiate and maintain regular communication with TCM, TCT and internal & external customers;
• Collect technical information / specification for specific application or technology to verify Evonik material;
• Support TCS Injection molding machine operation and process adjustment with legal, environmental and safety standards;
• Design, order and test new injection molding molds and assist their proper operation in TCS;
• Assists in equipment investment and maintenance budget plan;
• Master plastic processing technology in the work including injection molding, film/filament/tube extrusion, foaming and others;
• Document technical report and customer visit report in CRM system;
• Document work record according to ISO 9001 and maintain 5S in TCS;

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master degree in polymer science / polymer engineering / material engineering / chemical engineering / or mechanical engineering
• At least 3 years working experience in plastic related industrials such as material engineering / plastic processing / tooling engineering /  material testing / compounds development
• Overall technical understanding of polymer science and polymer processing such as extrusion and injection molding
• Familiar with typical polymer tests such as mechanical test, DSC, TGA, Rheology and others
• Active, creative working style and used to deal with time-pressure culture of consumer goods industry
• On-site support experience is a plus
• Basic IT skills (MS office)
• Fluent oral and written English
