Unlock Superior Performance in Construction with POLYVEST®
POLYVEST® grades are used in secondary sealants for window glazing, in binder of dusty and dry quartz sand as well as in binder for soil stabilization. Moreover, POLYVEST® can be added as modifier to silicone sealants.
Window glazing and insulated glass sealants
POLYVEST® HT is a hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene (HTPB) polymeric binder designed for top-tier polyurethane secondary window sealants in insulated glass units. With exceptional low moisture and oxygen permeability, along with excellent compatibility with various components, POLYVEST® HT ensures that your secondary window sealants meet the highest quality standards.

Large amounts of heat in buildings are lost through windows and doors. This presents a significant opportunity for more energy-efficient homes. In collaboration with our customer Kömmerling, we are working on state-of-the-art solutions. Learn more about energy-efficient windows and our partnership here.
Sand Filled Mortar
POLYVEST® serves as a high-performance binder designed for grouts used as fillers between paving tiles and various paving materials, including natural stones and concrete blocks.
Upon exposure to atmospheric oxygen, POLYVEST® reacts quickly to form peroxides and initiates a cross-linking process. This innovative formulation ensures rapid drying, exceptional bending and crushing strength, and excellent resistance to water, acids, bases, salts, and frost. Additionally, POLYVEST®-based sand-filled mortars effectively manage water penetration and provide robust weed control.
Bitumen Modification
The unfunctionalized POLYVEST® and the hydroxyl-terminated POLYVEST® HT contribute to reductions of viscosity as well as softening point of bitumen membranes by its typical characteristics. In addition, POLYVEST® HT in being incorporated as reactive component in bitumen systems.
